THREE CLF SCHOOLS ADVANCE TO THE MD STATE SCIENCE OLYMPIAD TOURNAMENT
For the first time in many years we are happy to announce three CLF Schools will advance to the Maryland Science Olympiad (MSO) Tournament.
On Saturday, April 17th, CMIT North Middle School, CMIT South Middle & High School and Anne Arundel County sister school Chesapeake Science Point will compete in the MSO Tournament sponsored by the John Hopkins University Center for Educational Outreach.
Students will compete in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in the Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from Regional to State to National levels. Maryland Science Olympiad is the State chapter for all of Maryland. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and host competitions for over 2,000 students in the state.
